Some describe the 13th as the signature hole. Certainly a tough par 4, and you are presented with a stunning view of the Tararua ranges as you play. Can be quite spectacular in winter if the ranges have a snow cap. The Divide that splits the lower North Island can so easily tear up your scorecard. Watch out for ‘Russell’s Ravine’ short right of the green, such a captive for stray shots and good luck getting up and down for par!
